All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each
miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in
joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands
again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so
long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can
run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
Indian legend says:
"When a human dies there is a bridge they must cross to enter into Heaven. At the head of that bridge waits every animal that human encountered during their lifetime. The animals, based on what they know of this person, decides which humans may cross the bridge...and which are turned away."
Thumbelina was born very small and wasnt eating or growing very well. She was such a fighter and deserved a chance. We took her into our vets and after almost a week of tube feeding, just couldnt fight anymore and past away. We will miss you Thumbelina and were honored to be able to meet you and we know you are in a safe place.
THANK YOU to her foster home for doing such a wonderful job with her and showing her what love really is.

Wow where do you begin when you are remembering a wonderful pet!
Cookie was adopted from a local shelter and turned out to be the best dog i have ever had. She was so full of energy and spunk!! We had 12 wonderful years with her! Unfortunately, cancer had taken over and we had to have her put down. I was six months pregnant and had hoped she would be around for the baby but my wish was not granted. She was so happy all the time, even in the end when she was hurting. She never let you know. Cookie was a blessing and i know she is watching over us from above and keeping an eye on her new little sister! We miss her so much and cherish the time we had with her!!
Rest in peace my sweet angel!!!
Love, The Foster Family

We rescued Remington from a Vet's office dumpster along with her brother at only a couple days old. Her brother unfortunately didn't make it through the first night. Remington touched our hearts from the very first day. After several weeks of caring for her the bond grew stronger and we knew she was meant to be ours. Remington was the joy of our life. There isn't a day that my husband and i don't think about her. She was our first baby and will always be in our hearts. Remington crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge at an early age due to FIV. It was one of the hardest things we have ever had to go through.
We miss you sweet angel and will see you again some day.

Lucky was rescue by Pawz 4 Life earlier in 2009 from a Human Society in Ohio. He was an owner surrender and set to be euthanized. Lucky was very small and assumed to be the runt. Unfortunately, Lucky was born with multiple health issues. He had not one but two extra chambers in his heart and his organs were a mess. After being in rescue for several months, having blood work done, ultra sounds and being taken to MSU for more testing ect, sadly Lucky became ill and developed severe aggression due to neurological issues as well and had to be euthanized.
Lucky was a VERY special dog, not to just everyone in rescue, but many wonderful people around the world supporting him.
He will be greatly missed and was very much loved!!
HE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

I was there the day you were born.
In those 14 short years, you touched my heart with your sweet and silly ways.
When it was time for you to go, I held you and told you it was ok to leave. That i would be alright.
Now your in heaven with god.
